Golf Lodging Business Improvement District

Established in November 2012, the Carlsbad Golf Lodging Business Improvement District Advisory Board is consists of three members representing lodging and golf businesses in Carlsbad. The members are appointed by the Mayor and City Council.


Meetings are typically held on a quarterly basis. 


Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Make recommendations to the City Council on the expenditure of revenues derived from the levy of assessments pursuant to this district.
  • Present an annual report to the City Council for each fiscal year for which assessments are to levies and collected in accordance with Streets and Highways Code sections 36500 et. seq.
