Aug. 14- Great Castles of England: A Knight’s Tour Enjoy a virtual travelogue of several castles throughout England that gives an understanding of the architecture, military significance and cultural value of medieval castles. We’ll view lots of great photos and illustrations as we consider the hows and whys of castle design and construction and life inside a medieval castle.
Aug. 21- Traveling Light & Easy Is travel or backpacking in your future plans? Come learn how to pack lightly for a more enjoyable trip. Traveler and Camino trekker Amanda Schaffer will offer tips on coordinating gear for any adventure, and a helpful resource handout will be provided.
Aug. 28- Rediscovering Italy If you love Italy and think you have seen everything it has to offer, Cheryl Alexander will introduce new sights and activities to refresh your view of this beautiful country. Based on her own experiences traveling in Umbria, Tuscany and Lazio, Cheryl will show you some of the best undiscovered places in these regions.
