Welcome to Leo Carrillo Ranch Historic Park! We are happy to be open and thank you for your patience as we continue to comply with the current San Diego County health order, safe reopening plans and applicable state guidance to keep our community safe.

During the COVID-19 public health emergency, please maintain a six-foot distance from those not in your household or wear a face covering.

Here is what is available:

• Walking, biking, jogging or picnicking in designated areas.
• The visitor center and select historic building interiors and exhibits are open intermittently for self-guided touring, one household at a time. Please call 760-476-1042 in advance of your visit to confirm staff and docent availability. 
• Travel back in time to view the Ranch as it looked in the past through historic photos – Leo Carrillo Ranch Historic Park Then & Now
• Self-guided walking tour of the grounds and exterior of the historic buildings. Brochures available in English and Spanish.
• Self-guided botanical tour. Brochures available in English and Spanish.
• Parque Histórico del Rancho de Leo Carrillo – Paneles Interpretivos Exteriores 
• Parque Histórico del Rancho de Leo Carrillo – Exposición del Barracón
• Parque Histórico del Rancho de Leo Carrillo – El adobe es mi Piedra de Nacimiento 

• Photography regulations for Leo Carrillo Ranch.

Here is what is NOT available/permissible:

• All organized activities including mommy and me groups, exercise groups, social clubs, painting classes, etc.
• All commercial activities including photo shoots, classes (non-city sponsored), tours, etc.  
• Out of respect for the peafowl and other native animals that call the Ranch home, please, no dogs in the park.
