DNA Interest Group

DIG Open Forum Meeting

There have been a number of recent sales for all the DNA testing companies! Have you done any new tests? Do you have new information that you have new questions about and are looking for some answers? Then this is the DIG meeting for you!

Before COVID changed the way DIG meetings were done, after speakers finished with their presentations and responded to the questions and answers, additional time was set aside for hands-on help by members with the attendees at the meeting. The July meeting will be dedicated entirely to this part of the meeting! Long time DIG attendees are invited to attend to help with problems or questions regarding the use of DNA in genealogical research of the newer attendees at this meeting.

This is a working meeting so please bring your computers and/or hard copies of information about your specific problems or questions and we will attempt to provide information that may help you to solve whatever they might be! No guarantees but it may be a new start!

The DNA Interest Group is a partnership program between Carlsbad City Library and the North San Diego County Genealogical Society. This program is designed to educate and inform people about the use of DNA testing for genealogical purposes through lectures on DNA. The DNA Interest Group is open to people who have all levels of computer and genealogy experience.
