  • Introduction: This event is not sponsored by the City of Carlsbad but has been issued a city special event permit. It is included on the city calendar to advise the public that part of a city park or facility may not be available during this event and/or of potential traffic impacts in the surrounding area.

Bike MS Bay to Bay is a two-day bike event with expo/start/finish on private property at the Westin Carlsbad Resort and Spa. Rides start on both days at:

The Traffic Control Plan for this event is for Sunday, 10/20/24 from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. only and includes:

  • Closure of westbound lane #2 on Cannon Road between Grand Pacific Drive and Carlsbad Blvd.
  • Closure of northbound lane #2 on LEGOLAND Drive from Armada Drive to Cannon Road
