When working through a DNA research project, biogeographical estimates can inform locality research, providing clues for ancestor origins as well as new places to explore. Diana Elder, of Family Locket, will present three mini case studies to explore different scenarios that might arise in your research. Elder will also review DNA testing company tools for reporting ethnicity estimates and the basics of locality research. Register here

The DNA Interest Group is a special interest group designed to educate and inform people about the use of DNA testing for genealogical purposes. Topics are offered for all levels of computer/genealogy experience. 

Genealogy events are presented through a partnership between the Carlsbad City Library and the North San Diego County Genealogical Society (NSDCGS). The Carlsbad City Library is thankful to the NSDCGS for making this live Genealogy Program available during this time.
