Celebrate Mardi Gras a few days early with us. Bring your dancing shoes, as the Schulman Auditorium will be filled with the sounds of some of the best small jazz combo bands of the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s. Founded in 2015 by swing dancer Morgan Day, Mat Hat Hucksters is a San Diego based band that brings their love early rhythm & blues and traditional jazz. Fats Waler, Sydney Bechet and Louis Armstrong are just a few of the greats you’ll hear.
