For grades Kindergarten to grade 3: An in-person weekly program centered on STEAM activities with a focus on open exploration, games and stories celebrating achievements around the world. This program emphasizes on finding your voice through poetry creation with painted illustrations and activities using natural materials.

Raptor Ridge at the Carlsbad City Library with a Raptor Specialist welcomes you to meet their raptor ambassadors up close and personal. Learn about their behavior, habitat, and species specific information as well as their personal impairments which is why they call the Agua Hedionda Discovery Center home. Petting, holding or feeding the raptors is not permitted.

Rendezvous with Raptors is held in the Children's Garden outside the Dove Library Children’s Area.
