Join us in the Georgina Cole Library Community Room to hear Jo Ellen Guthrie discuss her new book "In a Garden by the Sea: The Story of Luther and Olive Gage." This book focuses on the couple responsible for the creation of the Carlsbad Flower Fields, and his development of the Giant Tecolote Ranunculus flowers (also known as Persian buttercups) that are featured there. A book signing will follow the program. There will be no book sales on the day, but books are now available for purchase on Amazon.com
