Did you know that most of construction waste is recyclable? The California Green Building Standards code requires at least 65% of non-hazardous construction debris to be recycled and/or salvaged for reuse. Applicants for qualifying projects will be required to estimate the construction debris and recycling amounts prior to permit issuance. During construction activity receipts for debris and recycling will be provided to the building inspector prior to final inspection.
