About the program

The Opportunity Grants Program gives Carlsbad residents the opportunity to participate in recreation classes, camps and aquatic programs that they may not otherwise be able to afford. Grants of up to $300 per person are made to low-income families that live in Carlsbad. Families/Individuals must meet income eligibility requirements and complete a grant application with supporting documentation.
