9-1-1 is for emergencies only. Emergencies include immediate threats to life or property.

Examples:

• You are experiencing a medical emergency
• Someone is breaking into your home right now
• Your neighbor's home is on fire

Non-emergencies

Call 760-931-2197, when you need the police, but there is no immediate threat to life or property.

Examples:

• Your vehicle has been stolen.
• You are receiving threatening or harassing phone calls.
• You have been in a minor traffic collision, and no one is injured.
